My name is Katharina. I am an Architect by day and just like you, I have a severe case of wanderlust, but like so many of you I also have limited vacation days.

Good vlog, it reminds me of Asakusa Temple in Tokyo, the complex resembles the Edo-period site, with several imposing gates, including the Kaminarimon or the Thunder Gate, with its iconic giant red lantern, and a five-story pagoda. Good vlog, it reminds me of Wat Pho in Bangkok, although the reclining Buddha looks like someone relaxing on a sofa, it is actually a representation of Buddha’s last moments on earth during his illness. A shame I missed out on going here when I was there in October 2017, I broke my toe and it was a very uncomfortable back end of my trip, not without the biggest typhoon in history as well!

What a beautiful way to celebrate the end of Chinese New Year in London! I have only had marshmallows with chocolate and graham crackers (s'mores) so it was interesting to see them being eaten plain. Loved seeing all the lanterns!
Loved the voiceovers that you did because they provided super important travel information for travel in Kamakura! So cool that the buddha remained after everything else in the town was wiped out. And those beach views were incredible!

Haha. Yes we loved getting lost in Akihabara. I didn't get one that time. They were so expensive. But then regretted it. So when we went back to Japan last year, I did end up buying one :)
